The product was purchased and its packaging (I use the word packaging as a stand in for all things discarded), after serving its initial objective, is discarded. It sits there within the environment and over time nature will help to abstract its identity even further. Radically altering it until all definition is lost. The elements of attraction have now become those of aversion. Somewhere within this new form it attains a certain level of beauty. In the absence of commodification it has become free. A symbol of rebellion and possibility.
